Planning Process for Urban Watersheds
PHASE III
Phase Three is the development of the Master Plan.
The activities for Phase Three included:
A. A. Re-Evaluated Outreach Efforts and Project Goals Re-evaluated outreach efforts and project goals and objectives. B. Developed Sustainable Recommendations for DCOP Analyzed the “Transit-Area Strategic Investment and Development Plan” written by DCOP and developed “Sustainable Design Recommendations” for the redevelopment nodes. C. Developed LID Overlays for DCOP Nodes Developed LID overlays in GIS for the five redevelopment nodes. D. Developed LID Overlays for #006 Blocks Developed LID overlays for the U and V Street Blocks. E. Stormwater Modeling / Analysis The water quantity and quality benefits of the LID overlays were calculated using a computer modeling tool. F. Developed the Prototype LID Planning Process Organized the decision-making process into steps that help planners and designers account for watershed planning goals and site characteristics while making decisions about LID benefits. G. Project Deliverable Prepared Final Report.
