Anacostia-DC LID Watershed Map

There are several studies, pilot projects, retrofits, and  developments which are using LID principles and practices to help restore water quality in the Anacostia Watershed. Many of these projects will be used to help demonstrate the effectiveness of these practices for reducing runoff volume to help control Combined Sewer Overflows and pollutant loads in the watershed as well as provide valuable educational opportunities. The Center is a partner on many of these projects.
