The LID Center prepared a design charette, construction performance specifications, and a design report on the feasibility of incorporating LID into the site design for the new Marine Corps headquarters complex. The Center also prepared and conducted an LID workshop and seminar. A separate green roof seminar was conducted by Roofscapes, Inc. under contract to the LID Center. The Center worked with the LANTDIV¹ design staff on a charette to see how the building and site could be modified to conserve water and energy and incorporate LID as part of the commitments of the Chesapeake 2000 Bay Agreement. This project is part of a task order contract that the Center currently has with the Department of Energy.
