The first public meeting for the Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue Great Street Project was held on Thursday, February 21, 2008, at 6:30PM. Twenty-five community members came to the meeting. The project was presented to the public through the use of images on posters around the room and on a power point presentation. A Question and Answer session allowed the community to ask questions, receive responses, and make comments about the project. Community members were given 3x5 cards on which to write any comments or suggestions, as well as stickers for voting on the three “input” posters. The Q&A session comments and comments submitted on 3x5 cards are listed in this document. Also, the input poster results can be found here.
