Size of a Rain Garden: Spreadsheet Instructions

Calculate the drainage area for the rain garden using site plans. Adjust the Device Storage Depth and Soil Depth to reflect your design. Ideally, the rain garden should be large enough to infiltrate 90% of the runoff generated in the drainage area. Adjust the device area to get as close as you can to this goal while staying within the space constraints of your site.
