The LID Center, in association with Friends of the Rappahannock, worked with the Town of Warsaw to incorporate LID into the development process. This included a comprehensive review of the town's development codes, an LID overlay master plan, and the design of a demonstration project. The process included recommendations on code changes, plan processing, and project review. Presentations and workshops were conducted with the town council, business and property owners, and local engineers to determine which strategies and techniques would be the most effective and easiest to incorporate into the development process.
